The Topline project initiated in 2014 involved the installation of a ring main pipeline connected to the municipality’s water supply, to ensure a consistent and reliable water supply to the 77 homes within the Topline Community, addressing the long-standing issues of water scarcity in the Groblershoop area.
The ongoing projects’ impact is multifaceted: Improved health by providing access to clean water thus reducing the risk of water diseases, promoting better health and hygiene. Residents no longer need to rely on the alternative water sources (water tankers) saving time and efforts.
ACWA POWER’s Bokpoort CSP commitment to community development and upliftment has been evident in the successful implementation and ongoing this water reticulation project. The project has had a positive impact on the lives of Topline residents, creating sustainable and thriving communities.
