Since 2016, ACWA Power Bookpoort, has successfully delivered boreholes, water pumps, and solar panels to multiple farms, improving access to essential infrastructure in this water-scarce area.

Acwa Power’s continued support included the drilling of two boreholes, the supply and delivery of animal watering infrastructure and the supply and installation of two solar pumps and supplied emergency animal feed and medicine after a devastating fire in 2024.

This programme has not only uplifted the community but has revolutionized the agricultural landscape for female farmers, enabling more women to overcome the traditional barriers.
